The "80/20 Rule" for Training

Many of my patients have heard me talk about the "80/20 Rule" when it comes to planning their training.  In this article from TrainingPeaks, Matt Fitzgerald lays out the rationale for this theory.  While I may not agree with all of the specifics (like the grouping of moderate and high intensities into a single category), this is a great overview.  And this time of year, this topic is particularly pertinent.  As you look to plan your season, consider how your training time is best spent. - Kevin Sprouse
